The Architecture of History Framed Poster, Blueprint History Wall Art

A framed poster printed in ivory linework on a deep blueprint-blue background. The frame is alder, a semi-hardwood from renewable forests, 1.9 cm (0.75 in) thick, with an Acrylite front protector. It comes in Black or Red Oak and five sizes, from 8″ × 10″ to 18″ × 24″.

The artwork is laid out like an architectural drawing titled “The Architecture of History: A Structural Study of Human Civilization.” At its center, a block of earth is cut away to show history as stacked strata. Cave paintings and a bison sit at the bottom. Above them are pyramids and ancient temples, then a classical temple, the Colosseum, and a marble bust. The upper layers show medieval castles and cathedrals, sailing ships and a globe, a steam locomotive and tanks, and a modern skyline of skyscrapers and a domed government building. Each layer is labeled by era along a vertical time axis, with short notes on its themes at the right.

Around the block sit a stack of books labeled Peoples, Places, Ideas, Conflicts, and Innovations, a cracked clay vessel, a map and scroll, a fluted column fragment, a ruler and pencil, and a compass rose with drafting dividers. A “Historical Strata” title block and a scale bar in years complete the blueprint look.
